The Shepherding Portal is a web dashboard for the pastors, elders, and ministry leaders who shepherd the people using the Sandals app. It does not replace knowing the sheep; it helps shepherds see where to look and what to ask.
How it connects to the app
A leader creates a link code in the portal and gives it to the congregation. Each member chooses whether to enter it in the app, and can leave at any time. Linked members also see their church's spiritual gifts and serving ministries in the app.

The congregation's combined landscape across the eight facets, showing where the body is strong and where it has valleys. Useful for preaching and planning.
Groups
Group activity and rosters.
Prayer
Requests members choose to share with their church, including urgent needs. Members decide whether each request stays with leaders or may be shared more widely.
People
A directory for finding and following up with members.
Ministry networks
A denomination, association, or multi-site church can link locations and see combined health. Personal information stays with the local church.
Private by design
Leaders receive summary information, enough to see concerns, strengths, and weaknesses across the flock. A prayer request reaches leaders only when a member chooses to share it. Leaders never see group chat conversations or a member's Bible history, and a network never receives names, emails, or prayer requests from its churches.
Use it to ask better questions, not to rank people. A number is where a conversation begins, never where it ends.
